AfriVest has announced its new website to the world. The press release, issued today through EIN Presswire, marks the formal public launch of the new afrivest.org, the digital home of the Africa programme of the DAMREV Group. The full release is available here.
The announcement matters because the site is more than a redesign. The new afrivest.org presents the whole programme in one place: the seven solutions, from asset tokenization and currency digitization with central bank digital currency (CBDC) support to self-sovereign identity, financial inclusion, cooperative governance, stablecoin and cross-border payments, and the AfriVest Academy. It presents the ecosystem products people will use directly, from a non-custodial wallet to a cooperative exchange. And it opens a research library of several hundred articles on African digital finance, alongside the Regulatory Hub, which sets out how compliance is built into the architecture rather than added afterwards.
Behind the launch sits a simple thesis. Africa does not have a wealth problem; it has an infrastructure problem. The African Development Bank values the continent's natural capital at about 6.2 trillion US dollars (2018 valuation), yet in Sub-Saharan Africa roughly four in ten adults remain unbanked (World Bank Global Findex 2025). The systems governing African wealth were built for extraction, not participation. AfriVest exists to build the connecting layer, powered by the DAMREV Engine on Stellar-based settlement and designed in alignment with international frameworks including ISO 20022, FATF guidance, and IOSCO principles.
